Are you staying in Puerto Madero and coming to class? Getting here is easy and quick because we’re so close and it’s even a lovely walk if you decide to come on foot! Puerto Madero is one of Buenos Aires’ most modern neighborhoods, known for its luxury residential towers, gourmet restaurants, and beautiful waterfront setting. Surrounded by parks, historic ships, and with direct access to the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve, it’s one of the few places in the city where you can enjoy views of the river and discover native plants and wildlife. While Puerto Madero wasn’t designed with public transportation in mind, there are still several convenient ways to get to our school and we’ll show you the best options below.

Getting Oriented

There are six streets you’ll quickly get to know if you’re staying in Puerto Madero:

And the neighborhood’s three main avenues:

For the purposes of this guide, we’ll consider Puente de la Mujer, Puerto Madero’s iconic pedestrian bridge and one of Buenos Aires’ most recognizable landmarks, to be the heart of the neighborhood. It connects Puerto Madero with the route leading toward Plaza de Mayo. From there, we’ll show you exactly how to get to our school.

• You can take Line A (light blue). Our closest station is Lima, just one block from the school.
• You can buy a SUBE card and top it up at any subway station.
• You can also pay for your ride with a contactless bank card or a device using Google Pay or Apple Pay. Both payment methods require NFC.
• The subway trip from the heart of Puerto Madero to our school takes approximately 15 minutes.
• Approximate distance: 2 km.

• Only a few bus lines connect the heart of Puerto Madero with the rest of the city. To get to our school, the best options are 64 and 105.
• The closest bus stops are located along Paseo Colón Avenue.
• All buses accept the SUBE card. While not every bus is equipped with it yet, many also support NFC payments using contactless bank cards or digital wallets.
• To find the best bus route, check schedules, and see real-time arrival information, we recommend using Google Maps and the free Cuándo Subo app, available for both Android and iOS.

• If the weather is nice and you’re in the mood for a walk, one of the best ways to get here is on foot or by bike! Check out the city’s interactive bike lane map to plan your route.
• From the heart of Puerto Madero, the trip takes approximately 15 minutes by bike or 25 minutes on foot (2 km). It’s a pleasant route and a great way to enjoy the neighborhood along the way.

• If you’re coming by car, the easiest route is to take Alicia Moreau de Justo Avenue and continue until you can connect with Avenida de Mayo.
• Traffic in this area can be quite heavy. Keep in mind that driving isn’t always the fastest option. Unless there’s a disruption to the service, the subway is usually the quickest way to get to our school.
