Are you staying or living in Palermo and coming to class? Getting here is easy, quick and it’s even a beautiful ride if you come by bike! Palermo is one of the largest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires and is best known for its cafés, restaurants, nightlife, art, and fashion. Trendy, vibrant, and youthful, it’s the city’s go-to neighborhood for culture, creativity, and outdoor living.

Finding your way around!

There are six avenues you’ll want to memorize if you’re going to live there:

Cordoba Avenue
Santa Fe Avenue
Las Heras Avenue
Del Libertador Avenue

And their most famous intersections: Coronel Diaz Avenue, Scalabrini Ortiz Avenue y Juan B. Justo Avenue.

For the purposes of this guide, we’ll consider the heart of Palermo to be Plaza Italia, on Santa Fe Avenue. From there, we’ll show you how to get to our school.

• You can take Line D (green) and transfer to Line C (blue). Our nearest station is Av. de Mayo, just two blocks from the school.
• You can purchase a SUBE card and top it up at any subway station.
• You can also pay your fare with a contactless credit or debit card, or with a device using Google Pay or Apple Pay. Both options require NFC.
• The subway ride from the heart of Palermo to our school takes approximately 25 minutes.
• Approximate distance: 5 km (3.1 miles).

• Several bus lines connect the heart of Palermo with our school, including 64, 60, 39, 10, 59, and 67, among others.
• The nearest bus stops are located along the seven main avenues mentioned at the beginning of this page.
• All buses accept the SUBE card. While not every bus is equipped yet, many now also support NFC payments with contactless credit or debit cards, as well as digital wallets.
• To find the best bus route, check schedules, and see real-time arrival information, we recommend using Google Maps and the free app Cuándo Subo, available for both Android and iOS.

• If the weather is nice and you’re up for it, you can also come by bike! Check out the city’s interactive bike lane map to plan your route.
• The ride from the heart of Palermo takes approximately 20 minutes (5 km / 3.1 miles) and is a very enjoyable one.

• If you’re driving, the best route is to take Del Libertador Avenue or Santa Fe Avenue toward 9 de Julio Avenue. During the day, Del Libertador Avenue is usually less congested than Santa Fe Avenue.
• Keep in mind that driving isn’t always the fastest option. Unless there are service disruptions, the subway is usually the quickest way to get to our school.
